Rossignol skis Hero Athlete FIS GS DLC is the new, F.I.S. approved, World Cup GS ski with Dynamic Line Control hydraulic system.The DLC construction eliminates some of the counter-flexion of the ski to ensure perfect stability and dynamic control of the line throughout the turn. The best features are World Cup titanal construction, ash wood core and the R22 DLC race plate for optimum precision, balance and power. Used in World Cup by our athletes, and our World Champion Tessa Worley in 2017. The DLC technology is a complete hydraulic shock absorber with an attachment point at the front of the ski. No Reversed camber. Counter flex impossible to keep perfect “Line”. Stability during the gates spots (Slapping area with ruts). Flex Control during the turns. Edge Grip efficiency. Snappy at the end of the turn. Based on Hydraulic Smart System.
Derived from DLC (DYNAMIC LINE CONTROL) technology, used by World Cup Athletes, DLC technology delivers power and energy in all circumstances and in all conditions. With its integrated center rail running the full length of the ski, the DLC construction eliminates some of the counter-flexion of the ski to ensure perfect stability and dynamic control of the line throughout the turn.
The all-new SPX 15 ROCKERFLEX is an elite-level, competition race binding with an 7-15 indicator range and < 80mm brake. The new SPX ROCKERFLEX features a smaller mounting zone and partially suspended heelpiece, allowing enhanced ski flex and control. Combined with our reinforced Pivot toe, the SPX Rockerflex delivers the industry's strongest coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission, precision, and control. Featuring the longest elastic travel on the market, SPX bindings also provide superior shock absorption, reducing unwanted pre-release for dependable, trustworthy alpine performance. And with a substantial reduction in weight, reduced ramp angles for a more neutral, upright stance, and improved step-in/step-out functionality, the SPX offers less fatiguing, more user-friendly alpine performance. The race-specific Rockerflex bridge neutralizes pressure between toe and heel, delivering the most natural ski flex.
