Stiffness: 70 - 105 = Extra Stiff to Extra SoftWe recommend stiffness "stiff" to "extra stiff" skis to boys U14 1st year and girls U14 2nd year. For girls U16 first year we recommend stiffness "stiff" - "extra stiff" and for boys U16 "extra stiff" with Marker piston plate.
For Boys U12 we recommend stiffness "medium" to "soft". If the athlete is relatively small in U12 category, we recommend "soft" to "extra soft".
For Girls U12 we recommend stiffness "soft" to "extra soft".Marker Piston plate works well with the most stiff skis and for the soft skis we recommend Marker Junior plate. However, Marker junior plate is always a good option also for lightweight athletes. If the athlete is really strong compared to others, Marker piston plate is always a good choice.
